Workshops are usually shorter and focus more on information and instruction. They can be a few hours, a full day or a weekend. They can also be mini segments included in a retreat weekend that are taken by the choice of the participant. The workshop offerings would be based on the organization’s needs. They can incorporate Christian prayer using yoga and followed by meditation, and/or a presentation on yoga’s physical and spiritual benefits for a healthy lifestyle. Mini workshops that could be incorporated into a larger retreat experience might include, Tai Chi, Centering Prayer, Meditation, Mindful Eating or any other related discipline.
